Supporting junior colleagues in their learning curve so rising the overall quality of Application Support services as well as increasing team awareness of need for structural approach and adherence to standard procedures is relevant part of your responsibilities.

In this divers, responsible position you are responsible for

  • The functional co-ordination of the BI team, DWH and data-related incidents assessments;
  • You must be able to take over project leadership for small internal projects;
  • Contribution in terms of improvement of overall DWH operations performances is expected;
  • You must be able to facilitate a smooth transition from operating the current low-level usage DWH towards operating a more complexed and efficient system.

Our client, located in Amstelveen, is the co-located EMEA headquarters of the Japanese leading global manufacturer of multifunctional office (automation) equipment.

Beeing responsible for coordinating the marketing and service of Multi Functional Office Products, IT infrastructure and software support in Amstelveen approx. 350 employees of different nationalities are working in a dynamic and challenging working environment with many international business partners and customer driven colleagues.
They operate in a very dynamic business where IT solutions need to be aligned and standardized. Therefore they are at the start of a major IT restructuring operation.

As such, being able to deal with changes is an important part of the DHW ANALYST job.

The Service Delivery department supports and maintains all centrally hosted infrastructure and business applications which are deployed across Europe. The sub division Application Support is specifically responsible for all applications and DWH related services operations.

For the Business Support department we are currently looking for a (Senior) DATAWAREHOUSE ANALYST.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in IT or business or relevant experience;
  • Minimum of 4 to 5 years experience in Datastage and ETL processes;
  • DWH data modelling skills/experience;
  • Experience design ETL processes;
  • Experience as DWH System Analyst or Information Analyst;
  • Experience with Business Intelligence / Management Reporting solutions;
  • Required IT tool knowledge: ETL and reporting tools Datastage, Cognos;
  • Experience with data quality issues and data quality management;
  • Experience in team co-ordination and/or project leadership;
  • Customer-oriented.


CANDIDATES SHOULD HAVE DUTCH RESIDENCE AND VALID WORKING PERMIT, EXCELLENT ORAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS in the ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND COGNOS KNOWLEDGE.

  • SALARY INDICATION BETWEEN 45K AND 55K GROSS A YEAR;
