In this divers job you will deliver technical support to Distributors and OEM partners of the company in general and in specific in the pre-launch activities of his assigned new products in order to ensure a sufficient technical and quality level at the customer’s side and thus contribute to the customer satisfaction in Europe.

This company, located in Amstelveen, is the co-located EMEA headquarters of the Japanese leading global manufacturer of multifunctional office (automation) equipment. This company is responsible for coordinating the marketing and service of Multi Functional Products, copiers, printers, scanners as well as network and software support. At the Amstelveen office approximately 350 employees of different nationalities are working in a dynamic and challenging working environment with many international business partners and customer driven colleagues.

Profile:

The Responsibilities:

  • You will supervise and ensure communication through internet and meetings to provide the Operating Companies, Distributors and OEM’s with information and countermeasures for technical problems that occur at End User’s side;
  • You will tackle, solve and prevent problems, occurring at End Users side by using problem escalation systems, analyse Field Product Performance information derived from the Field Performance & Feedback system and delivered by the Product Analyst and take proper action for any found problem, thus providing the best service to the European customers;
  • You will design, test and implement service systems and supervise and develop service plans for new products, which are in line with the Company’s standards, in order to ensure the customer is provided with the best service for new products;
  • You will coordinate the intensive monitoring during the first 6 months launch period of mass production machines, to determine the machine quality in the field in order to detect problems in an early stage;
  • You will analyze the results and advise on the actions to be taken in order to countermeasure the problems in an early stage;
  • You will organise, prepare and lead external meetings and events within the European company in order to ensure that customers have sufficient knowledge to provide technical support to their customers thus ensuring that the service is at the highest level possible;
  • You will participate in projects related to the Customer Service & Support Division.
     

We are looking for:

  • Educational level; HBO (Technical / IT related);
  • Working experience > 5 years in product support;
  • Analytical skills;
  • Communication skills;
  • Good knowledge of English language;
  • Organisational awareness.
