In this job you will re-engineer the portal and business systems and will improve management reporting, furthermore you will support, develop, document the business systems.

  • Responsible to provide service, stability and cover within the development project team;
  • Develop solutions to provide factual information to all levels of management;
  • Work with group IT to ensure continual process improvement of business systems;
  • Report progress regularly;
  • Share and document the system design and processes;
  • Create and deliver appropriate documentation and training regarding support environment.

This company, located in Amstelveen, is the co-located EMEA headquarters of the Japanese leading global manufacturer of multifunctional office (automation) equipment. This company is responsible for coordinating the marketing and service of Multi Functional Office Products as well as network and software support.
In the Amstelveen office approximately 350 employees of different nationalities are working in a dynamic and challenging working environment with many international business partners and customer driven colleagues.

A special department has been set up to harmonise ICT processes and systems through out the European (Amstelveen) office of this company. A key component of this department is the adoption of a single back-office system on Oracle ERP. For this department we are looking for a SOFTWARE ENGINEER who will be involved in cross-functional and cross-organisational project teams.

Requirements:

  • HBO IT education Diploma;
  • 3 yrs experience in IT support environment;
  • .Net skills (framework, VB, C#, Visual Studio);
  • SQL knowledge and experience;
  • Microsoft Office automation/interfacing skills;
  • Multi-platform skills (xml and/or high-availability, ms sql/oracle/iSeries);
  • Web development skills (html, xml, script, CSS);
  • Relational Database principles and techniques knowledge;
  • Have the ability to apply IT to business;
  • Have knowledge of international distribution business processes;
  • Have project management skills;
  • Have Estimation and planning capacities.
